Not for SLRs

This tripod would be nice to stabilize little point-and-shoot cameras, however it cannot hold my Canon SLR. As soon as I tightened everything up and forgoing of the camera, the camera started pointing down till it had been straight down. notwithstanding how tight I got it, it couldn't hold my camera up. Plus, the bottom that you simply screw into your camera is extremely little, therefore if your camera is serious, it pops out of the tripod (Luckily I had my hands beneath when my camera fell off the tripod).
So, if you've got an important camera, steer clear.
If you've got a light-weight camera, this tripod is ideal for on the go. it's super lightweight, folds right down to a really little size for a tripod, and has all the settings to induce the shot you wish.
I selected to present it a four star rating as a result of I got it as a present, and currently I notice it mentions within the description it's a two.5 pound load capability. i am nearly certain i might place a two.5 pound camera on it though - little point-and-shoot cameras are perfectly fine.
I need to induce a a lot of heavy-duty tripod, however if you've got alittle camera, i feel this tripod could be a smart notice.
