Canon EF 24-70mm vs. 24-105mm IS: browse this if you're a hobbyist

I am a hobbyist and this review is for folks like me. What I mean by that's that I take photos for fun and no-one buys my photos. I largely shoot landscape, nature, and portraits of family, friends, and relatives. i'll see 24-70mm because the seventy, and therefore the 24-105mm IS because the one zero five.
