173 of 182 people found this review helpful. Absolutely Fabulous Al Waleed A. Alzuhair I bought this camera after using the Canon EOS 10D for commercial photography, and I'm really impressed with its performance. If I were to list the main things I like, I would say:

- Resolution. The camera (almost) produces images A3 @ 300dpi. That satisfies the majority of advertising needs.

- Wide Dynamic Range. The color tones and help all the color gamut produces incredible images in all color spaces.

- Speed. (1) startup speed is wonderful, I set the power saving off the camera after 1 minute of inactivity and starts immediately after lightly touching the shutter button. (2) The other thing is 4 fps, I thought it would be too slow for sports, but it is not. (3) Last but not least, the AF speed is almost instantaneous.

- Built like a tank. Chamber seals are also very important time for me. I live in a desert environment, so it gets very dusty, especially when doing outdoor photography. Of course, changing lenses outdoors for me is risky, since it is an opportunity for dust to enter the chamber and then the sensor, so be careful.

- Full Frame. The experience of the lens that leads back to film cameras. The 10D had a crop factor of X1.6 (17 mm is actually 27. 2mm), but with the 1Ds Mark II 17mm is 17mm and I did use the lens that was better.

I hope I was able to convey something of the joy I am having with it .. The only bad thing I can find on this camera is its price .. But all in all, I think he has the courage.
